Für nichtquadratische Matrizen gibt es <a href="Minor_(Mathematik)" class="mw-redirect" title="Minor (Mathematik)">Minoren</a> und <b>Gramsche Determinanten</b> (nach <a href="J%C3%B8rgen_Pedersen_Gram" title="Jørgen Pedersen Gram">Jørgen Pedersen Gram</a>), die Ähnliches leisten.
